Last week, I ran a soft skills training session for five crew members from a production funded through the Location Offset. Every single one of them had already wrapped. The show won’t return. And yet—someone paid for them to learn how to manage conflict and navigate bad behaviour on set.
That someone was the production.
They’ll see no direct benefit from the training. No return on investment. No boost in productivity. Nothing on-screen.
