Freelancer Leadership & Management Workshop @ Perth

What’s this workshop about?
Are you working in a screen industry crew role and keen to upskill, share knowledge and make connections?
This workshop, specially co-designed with Screen Careers by Addie Orfila from the UK who trains for ScreenSkills, Netflix and Amazon, will include the following topics:
• Communication Systems: How do you communicate with your teams? How do you build a positive team culture quickly?
• Conflict Management: How to manage conflict – and prevent it in the first place
• Legal Responsibilities: What is the legislation that relates to behaviour on set?
• Appropriate Behaviour: What it is and how to manage it
• Resilience for you and for your crew, and how to achieve it
• What Now? What will you be doing differently?
After the formal training, each attendee will have access to 3 online “Leadership & Management Deep Dive” workshops for FREE, to further your learning. These will cover subjects relating specifically to Leadership and Management skills – like Having Difficult Conversations, Dealing with Bad Behaviour and Leading Inclusively – and will be offered over the six-month period after the workshop.
This workshop is presented with the kind support of Screenwest and the Government of Western Australia.
We’re pleased to be partnering with ABC Studios in Perth to bring this workshop to you in person in WA.
